Plot Overview
Opening scene
A terrified, seemingly possessed schoolgirl drags Radha’s severed head down the railway track and deposits it at the police station—echoing the grisly ending of the first film.
Tirupati’s spirit awakens
In Telangana’s Odela village, Tupupathi—a serial rapist and killer—was buried improperly (Samadhi Shiksha) instead of being cremated, according to local custom. Six months later, his vengeful spirit returns, possessing men and targeting innocent newlywed brides in a spree of brutal murders.
Desperate villagers seek help
As fear spirals, the villagers turn to Radha (Hebah Patel), Tirupati’s widow and his killer, now released from prison. She directs them to her estranged sister, Bhairavi (Tamannaah Bhatia), now a powerful Naga Sadhu (Aghori) devoted to Lord Shiva.
Spiritual battle intensifies
Bhairavi arrives after the interval. Armed with chants (“Om Namah Shivaya”), She confronts Tirupati’s spirit, which has drawn a lethal boundary around Odela, preventing anyone (or any animal) from leaving and enforcing chaos with supernatural control over earth, fire, water, air, and sky.
Life in danger
When a young girl’s asthma attack forces her to cross the spirit’s boundary for medical care, Radha volunteers, but the spirit overpowers her—severing her head and replicating the film’s chilling opening.
Final showdown
Bhairavi, pressured to relinquish her celibacy and become possessed by Tirupati, agrees under duress. Meanwhile, with the help of a Muslim baba and villagers, Tirupati’s corpse is exhumed to perform proper Hindu cremation (karmic ritual). As Bhairavi chants and nears the completion of 110 crore Om chants, divine intervention occurs: Nandi (Shiva’s bull) awakens her, she completes the chants, and Shiva himself grants her the Trishul to vanquish Tirupati.
Aftermath and sequel tease
With the spirit destroyed and the corpse cremated, Bhairavi continues her ascetic path. But the final shot—a riderless bicycle gliding through Odela—hints the evil might return in another sequel
