Reeling from the backlash and estranged from her conservative, patriarchal family—led by her theatre‑actor father—and disappointed by her fiancé Siddhant, Sajini posts a suicide note on social media blaming them and disappears.
As the incident ignites national attention and debate over morality, agency, and honour, police launch an investigation. Inspector Bela Barot (played by Nimrat Kaur) and Inspector Ram Pawar (Chinmay Mandlekar) take charge of the case, uncovering a web of lies, societal hypocrisy, and hidden motives .
